Centriquip, a UK based company, is looking to build long-term business relationships with companies in China to launch its new range of environmental decanter centrifuges to the Chinese waste water and sewage industries. The range includes its new CQ7000 high-volume decanter designed specifically for the sector. Potential partners are likely already to be providing goods and services to this important market sector.

Decanter centrifuges separate solids from liquid and are, therefore, essential equipment for all sewage treatment and industrial waste water applications.

Removing solids allows the water stream to be returned to the head of the works for re-use; the 'dry' solid phase remains easily disposable by incineration or, after liming, for spreading on the land as fertiliser.

The typical throughput of large decanters is in the region of 80m3/hour of feed material for dewatering, higher for thickening operations.

Large plants use multiple machines to provide the total throughput required and the necessary operational continuity.

Centriquip is the UK's largest manufacturer of decanter centrifuges and already supplies the largest municipal sewage treatment and industrial waste water plants in Europe.

The company has already begun to operate in China with a recent order to supply a waste water treatment plant for a sugar factory in Jinghong, Yunan Province.
